No battery is required for the AZDOME M580 5K Dash Cam, as it is equipped with a Super Capacitor that only uses 1mAh of Lithium Metal for time memory. This design provides a longer lifespan compared to dash cams on the market that use lithium-ion batteries. Instead of relying on power packs or batteries, the dash cam must be powered by connecting it to your car through one of three options: direct connection to a fuse, a cigarette lighter adapter, or an OBD cable. If you wish to utilize parking mode, a hard-wiring kit with 3 wires is necessary.

The bundle includes the M580 5K Dash Cam with an AZDOME 3-Lead USB C Hardwire Kit (JYX05). This 3-channel dash cam offers various recording options: Front 5K (5160x2160P), Front and rear 4K+1080P, Front and inside 4K+1080P, and Front and rear inside 4K+1080P+1080P.

Featuring an upgraded touchscreen, the AZDOME dash camera boasts a 4-inch sensitive touchscreen with simple icons for easy navigation of menu settings. Users can playback recorded footage directly on the touchscreen display, making operations more convenient and responsive.

The M580 5K dash cam for 2024 is equipped with built-in 5G WiFi, offering faster transmission speeds compared to 2.4GHz WiFi. With a 5.8GHz transmission speed that is 4-6 times faster, users can download 800Mb videos within 10 seconds using the 5.8GHz WiFi feature.

Additionally, the dash cam includes a 24-hour parking monitor with three modes: auto turn off parking mode, normal recording parking mode, and time-lapse parking mode. The G-sensor can detect collisions and record videos even when the camera is turned off, ensuring continuous recording for 24 hours in time-lapse mode.
